For people who live in Golden Oak, Thanksgiving planning starts this Friday, October 9. That morning, Four Seasons Resort Orlando starts taking Thanksgiving-to-go orders. Three weeks of its haunted speakeasy will still be left on the calendar. The Golden Oak Club describes its yearly programming as food-and-beverage and holiday events, without posting specific dates on its public page. The specific dates for this fall come from the resort inside the community and from Disney Springs down the road. Almost all of them fall between now and Halloween.
The Club Sets the Routine, the Resort Sets the Deadlines
Every Golden Oak homeowner joins the Golden Oak Club, and Summerhouse is its clubhouse. Summerhouse handles everyday life. Bolton's is the casual restaurant. Markham's hosts the more formal member and guest events. Tyler's Coffee Bar serves coffee and a light breakfast Wednesday through Friday mornings. None of that requires booking weeks ahead.
The Four Seasons does require it. This season, its press office has put out exact dates, prices and booking cutoffs, and those overlap in a way that is easy to miss. On October 4, here is how the next eight weeks look:
- Now through Oct. 31: Epilogue's "The Hidden Chapter" pop-up runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
- Oct. 9: Four Seasons Thanksgiving-to-go orders open.
- Oct. 25: Orders open for house-made holiday pies and pastries.
- Nov. 3 to Nov. 27: Holiday sweets at Lickety Split.
- Nov. 20: Last day to order Thanksgiving-to-go.
- Nov. 26: Thanksgiving Day service at Ravello and Plancha.
Half of those dates fall before the Halloween pop-up closes. If you wait until November 1 to think about the holidays, you have already missed three weeks of the ordering window and the first week of pie orders.
Twelve Nights Left at the Haunted Library
Epilogue is the resort's adults-only speakeasy, normally decorated as an art-deco library. For fall, the Four Seasons has turned it into an old Florida library that has supposedly been closed for decades, with cobwebs, moss, candlelit antique books, velvet and brass. The cocktail menu, led by Jaclyn Keogh, draws on Florida stories. The Ulele combines Hendrick's Oasium Gin, spirulina, Luxardo Herbal Liqueur, lemon and Ambrose mead. The Painted Lady is inspired by the May-Stringer House in Brooksville and blends sake, Lillet Blanc, almond elixir, Moody Bitters and palo santo.
The rules decide your timing. Tickets cost $85 per person, include two custom cocktails, and must be bought ahead on OpenTable. Seatings start at 6 p.m., walk-ins are not accepted, and space is limited. Counting Thursday through Saturday from October 8 to the final night on Saturday, October 31, there are twelve nights left. On those nights, dropping by after dinner is not an option. It takes a reservation, and the number of reservations is capped.
The resort also points out that guests can sign children up for its Saturday night Explorer Island Takeover program while the adults head to Epilogue. That program is tied to resort guests. Golden Oak households booking from home should plan on their own sitter.
The Thanksgiving Decision Gets Made in October
Ordering opens on October 9 and closes November 20, so you have about six weeks to decide. The prices are worth laying side by side, because the per-person cost of each option depends a lot on how many people you're feeding.
| Thanksgiving option, Nov. 26, 2026 | Hours | Adult price | Child price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals at Ravello | 7 to 11 a.m. | $64 | $44 |
| Plancha buffet | Noon to 7 p.m. | $150 | $58 |
| Ravello buffet | 1 to 8 p.m. | $170 | $58 |
| Thanksgiving-to-go, serves up to 5 | Order Oct. 9 to Nov. 20 | $440 total | Included |
| Thanksgiving-to-go, serves up to 8 | Order Oct. 9 to Nov. 20 | $650 total | Included |
For a table of five adults, Plancha's buffet comes to $750 and Ravello's to $850. The smaller to-go package covers the same five people for $440, roughly $88 each. At eight people, the larger package works out to about $81 a person. The more people at your table, the more it pays to eat at home, and that choice has to be made before the November 20 cutoff.
The two buffets differ in more than price. Ravello has a sushi and raw bar, charcuterie and cheese, and a carving station with roast turkey and a fire-roasted New York strip loin with Executive Chef Fabrizio Schenardi's house rub and chianti sauce. Dessert includes pumpkin pie and sweet potato cupcakes. Plancha adds Brazilian-style picanha, chimichurri, farofa and plantains alongside the turkey, plus pumpkin macarons and black bottom chocolate pie at the dessert bar. The resort's in-room Thanksgiving dinner at $59 per person is offered to overnight guests, so most households at home will be choosing between the buffets and the to-go packages.
Pie orders open October 25, a week before Halloween.
What Living Next Door Does and Does Not Include
All of this comes with one caveat about access. Golden Oak's public materials keep the Golden Oak Club separate from the Four Seasons. Access to the resort's amenities is promised specifically to Four Seasons Private Residence owners. The resort's own policy reserves its pools, Explorer Island and Kids For All Seasons for hotel guests. Private Residents and Golf and Sports Club members get pool access only on select dates.
The fall programming above doesn't depend on any of that. Epilogue tickets are sold through OpenTable. The resort offers its to-go meal to anyone who wants Four Seasons food at home. Any Golden Oak household can use these dates. They just need to watch the cutoffs.
Disney Springs Town Center Changed This Summer
The same overlap shows up a few minutes away. Town Center at Disney Springs got a new opening and lost a long-running restaurant within six weeks of each other.
Six Ravens, the savory grab-and-go spot from the Gideon's Bakehouse team, soft-opened on August 3. It sells "Coffyn" hand pies, including cheeseburger and pesto-chicken versions, plus smashed potatoes and a chocolate-fudge tart. As of today, Disney lists its hours as 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Its menu also includes local beer, and Disney Dining Plan meals are not accepted. Opening-week reports at WDW Magic described no seating, a limit of two Coffyns per paying guest, and a text-based virtual queue when lines got long. Those were opening rules and may have changed since.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, a 250-seat restaurant in the same district, closed for good on September 13, and no replacement has been announced. On October 3, Kawaii Slime Company was announced for Disney Springs, with no opening date or location confirmed yet.
Disney Springs' fall menus run on the same short clock as Epilogue. Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew sells a six-pack of fall-flavored donuts from October 1 through October 31. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar has a Halloween menu with Midnight Mayhem Popcorn Chicken, Candelabra Eggs, Bone Kebabs, and cocktails including the Midnight Relic and the Skull and Sour.
West of the parks, Flatlands Bar & Grill opened to the public on September 21 at 124 Ruby Red Place in Flamingo Crossings Town Center, across from Simply Capri. Its kitchen is run by Dominique Filoni, formerly Chef de Cuisine at Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort. That makes the neighborhood's newest bar and grill a place whose chef came out of a Disney resort kitchen nearby.
December Is Still Partly Unwritten
Disney's holiday calendar starts before Thanksgiving arrives. Disney Jollywood Nights runs on select nights from November 7, 2026, to January 5, 2027. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from November 8 to December 22. EPCOT's Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 to December 30. Jollywood Nights starts November 7, nearly two weeks before the Four Seasons Thanksgiving-to-go cutoff on November 20, so Disney's holiday season begins while the Thanksgiving ordering window is still open.
The Four Seasons hasn't filled in December yet. Its festive-season page still reads "2026 Events and Experiences To Be Confirmed." Judging by this fall, the resort's Christmas dates will likely come with advance-booking rules of their own, so check that page in the same weeks you place your Thanksgiving order.
Living inside Golden Oak means planning around booking windows the way you plan around park hours. The same goes for knowing your home's value before the market moves into the holidays.
